Edexcel offers five Mathematics related A-Levels, Mathematics, Further Mathematics, Pure Mathematics, Further Additional Mathematics and Statistics (AS only). These A-Levels can be completed by choosing combinations of six papers from the eighteen papers available. The papers are divided five topics. These are: Core Maths, Statistics, Mechanics, Desision Mathematics and Further Pure Maths.


Core Mathematics --- C1, C2, C3, C4

Statistics --- S1, S2, S3, S4

Mechanics --- M1, M2, M3, M4, M5

Decision Mathematics --- D1, D2

Further Mathematics --- FP1, FP2, FP3


All modules except C1 allow the use of calculators.

An AS-Level in Mathematics must include the units C1 and C2, and a choice of S1, M1 or D1.

An A-Level in Mathematics must include the units C1, C2, C3 and C4, and a choice of (S1 and S2), (M1 and M2), (D1 and D2), (S1 and M1), (S1 and D1) or (D1 and M1).
